The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Margallo misses.
A cross from Scalante lands.
Margallo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Scalante stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Margallo paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Margallo moves away from the strike by Scalante.
Good shot there by Scalante.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Scalante lands with a right hand.
Margallo misses the shot to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Scalante, as that shot connected.
Scalante slips a jab from Margallo.
Scalante jabs at Margallo's body.
Margallo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Scalante works Margallo's body with a nice hook.
Margallo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Scalante connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Margallo scrambles back to his feet.
Scalante lands with a big right hook that stumbles Margallo - he's out on his feet here! Scalante follows up with another monster hook that separates Margallo from consciousness! Margallo falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Scalante stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
