The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angle lands a nice shot that snaps Voresch's head back.


It looks like Vladimire Voresch has been cut.
Angle is looking to clinch but Voresch is avoiding it.
Horrible takedown by Voresch or perhaps it was just good defense by Angle which made him look bad.
Voresch shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Angle but Angle pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Voresch closes the distance and clinches up with Angle, looking for a takedown. Voresch pushes Angle against the cage but Angle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Voresch is looking for a sweep. Angle is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Let's hope that Angle has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Voresch is looking to improve his position but Angle isn't that keen on the idea.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Angle is looking for a choke. Voresch gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Voresch manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Voresch is working for takedown but Angle is calmly controlling the position for now.

Voresch takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Angle moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Voresch scores with a jab to the head.
Voresch shoots in for a takedown but Angle shows good takedown defense.
Voresch shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Angle but Angle pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Voresch looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Angle is fending him off so far but Voresch persists. Nope, Angle circles away and we're back to standing.
Voresch drops Angle with a right and a left! Voresch comes rushing in but Angle regains his composure and manages to keep Voresch in guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Voresch postures up in Angle's guard and throws a big left but Angle blocks it.
Angle wants to sweep but no luck.

Angle bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Voresch's guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Vladimire Voresch will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Voresch cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Voresch avoids the attempt from Angle to control.
Angle is in a horrible position here. Voresch smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Voresch is landing with some decent strikes but Angle is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Voresch postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Angle looks a forlorn figure.
Angle tries to lock up and control but Voresch gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Angle is bucking up trying to escape but Voresch cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Voresch has control of Angle's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Angle regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Kurt Angle comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Angle has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
