Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Mnemonic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Whonjon William (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mnemonic kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Johnny Wants Room Service!. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mnemonic looks to score with a jab to the body but William is just out of range.
William throws a low kick but Mnemonic avoids it.
William throws a looping overhand right but Mnemonic ducks down to avoid it.
William tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mnemonic swivels and escapes.
William fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Mnemonic tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but William was well out of range. Poor timing from Mnemonic.
Mnemonic misses with a series of wild punches.
Mnemonic thows a left - swing and a miss!
William slips under a jab from Mnemonic.
William avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Mnemonic swats away the attempt to clinch by William.

William closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mnemonic quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Mnemonic is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

William is working for a kimura but Mnemonic is defending it quite comfortably.

William throws a strike but Mnemonic rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mnemonicis looking to pass into half guard but William pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now William is in guard.

William fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mnemonic manages to avoid it.

William shoots in and drives through. Mnemonic sprawls well.

William has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mnemonic finds it's way round the side to connect with William's head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

William turns into Mnemonic and is now in his guard.

William is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mnemonic doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time William.
