Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Adam Falcon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joe Polk! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Falcon loads up on a big right hand but Polk slips the punch. Nice cross by Falcon. Falcon misses the jab. Polk misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Falcon throws a lazy right hand but Polk sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Polk throws a sloppy head kick and Falcon moves out of range easily. Falcon blocks a head kick by Polk.
Falcon jabs at Polk's body. Polk throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Polk throws a head kick that misses. Polk throws a head kick that misses. Polk tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Falcon swinging wildly here.
Falcon connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Polk walks into a straight right hand from Falcon. Polk tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Falcon drops Polk with a big left hand and mounts him. Polk is in big trouble! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Falcon misses with a head shot. Falcon has control of Polk's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Polk regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Polk is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Falcon looking for a guillotine from mount but Polk is having none of it. Polk is squirming around, avoiding Falcon's attempts to control the action. Polk regains half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Falcon working over Polk with some ground and pound. Polk looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Falcon tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Falcon drops an elbow to the side of Polk's head. Falcon decides to return to a standing position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Polk walks straight into a right hand from Falcon - that's dropped him! Falcon jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Polk from any more punishment! Polk complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Adam Falcon! A very excited looking Adam Falcon rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
