Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jaakko Kilpinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Inspectah Knuckles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jaakko Kilpinen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Inspectah Knuckles!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knuckles swings for the body but Kilpinen moves out of range.
Knuckles moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Knuckles punishes Kilpinen's body with a nice straight punch.
Knuckles jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Knuckles walks into a jab.
Kilpinen turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kilpinen connects with a body shot.
Knuckles takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Knuckles just misses with a punch to the body.
Kilpinen misses with a jab to the body
and Knuckles counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kilpinen thinking.
Knuckles wants to slow Kilpinen down by chopping away at his legs.
Knuckles thows a body shot but no joy.
Kilpinen slips a straight right by Knuckles.
Kilpinen misses with a looping right.
Kilpinen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kilpinen misses with an attempted mid kick.
Knuckles just misses with a punch to the body.
Knuckles bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Kilpinen manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Knuckles thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kilpinen's head.

Knuckles really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kilpinen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Knuckles lands a nice short elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kilpinen moves into full guard.
Kilpinen is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Knuckles prevents Kilpinen from getting back to his feet.

Knuckles makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Kilpinen is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Knuckles defends well.
Kilpinen has momentary wrist control but Knuckles slips an elbow through the middle.
Knuckles got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kilpinen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Knuckles has managed to get both his arms back between Kilpinen's legs - danger averted.
Knuckles must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Knuckles is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Kilpinen wants to stand and escape but Knuckles is having none of it.
Knuckles wants to pass the guard but Kilpinen is keeping the position.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Knuckles avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Knuckles throws an elbow that misses. Kilpinen uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Knuckles's guard. Nice move by Kilpinen!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Knuckles pulls Kilpinen in to control the position.

Kilpinenis looking to pass into half guard but Knuckles pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Knuckles is in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Knuckles accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Knuckles has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kilpinen is proving hard to escape from.

Knuckles is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Kilpinen is rocked!
Knuckles stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kilpinen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Oh Kilpinen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Knuckles is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Knuckles is working Kilpinen over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Knuckles loads up on a big left hand. Kilpinen felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Knuckles looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Kilpinen can't hide his disappointment, as Knuckles celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Inspectah Knuckles!
Inspectah Knuckles decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
