Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Valeri Chadov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but Elovaara shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Elovaara lands a right hook to the body.

Silva takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Silva takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

The fighters circle momentarily. Elovaara darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Silva takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Elovaara swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Elovaara cracks Silva with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Silva takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Elovaara is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Elovaara swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Elovaara takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but Elovaara shows good takedown defense.
Elovaara cracks Silva with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Elovaara is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Elovaara slaps away a takedown attempt from Silva, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Silva shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Silva drops back looking for a leg! Elovaara is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Elovaara manages to kick Silva off! Silva jumps back into Elovaara's guard.
Silva advances to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Silva is looking for a kimura but Elovaara is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Silva to get the leverage.
Silva is trying to work for a kimura but Elovaara is defending well.
Silva is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Elovaara is just riding it out for now. Silva eventually gives up the hold.
Elovaara on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Elovaara tries to get out of the position.
Silva has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Elovaara defend it? Silva steps over the head and cranks it - Elovaara is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Silva!
