Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hensball's sensitive parts.
Johnson has closed the distance and engaged Hensball in a clinch.
Hensball is fighting off a takedown attempt but Johnson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Hensball to the mat. Hensball regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Hensball is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Johnson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Johnson wants to take Hensball's back but he can't do it this time.
Hensball is mounted but he's throwing punches.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Johnson is looking for the choke from the back position but Hensball is controlling his hands well.
Johnson is looking for a choke. Hensball gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Hensball manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Johnson is looking for a sweep. Hensball is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Johnson manages to get to full guard.

Johnson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hensball!

Hensball is wriggling around trying to escape.
Johnson swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Hensball is now in Johnson's guard. A big mistake from Johnson there, giving up the dominant position!

Johnson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hensball's guard.

Johnson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hensball swivels though and keeps the full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Johnson advances to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hensball defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Johnson.

Johnson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Johnson shoots in for a double leg but Hensball sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Hensball throws a series of punches but Johnson moves out of range.

Hensball misses with an elbow over the top.
Johnson is looking to take this one to the mat.

CJ Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Johnson showed some decent athleticism there.

Hensball is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Johnson is staying active.
