Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Maximov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Sergei Maximov has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Sergei Maximov seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Illya Tyunina and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza tries to close the distance and clinch but Maximov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Souza scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Souza shoots in and drives through. Maximov sprawls well.
Souza throws a low kick but Maximov avoids it.

Maximov closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Souza keeps control of Maximov as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Maximov tries to break free but Souza pushes him back against the cage.
Maximov is looking for a takedown.
Maximov is breathing heavily.
Souza avoiding damage.
Souza is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Maximov pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Sergei Maximov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucas Souza.

Maximov keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Souza's efforts to push away.
Maximov is trying to break free.
Maximov is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Souza to keep the fight standing.
Souza wants to break free but Maximov has control.
Souza ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Souza no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Souza had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Maximov defends it easily.
Souza looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Maximov is defending well. Souza quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Maximov has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Souza celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
