Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sinisa Veljko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Roussow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Veljko comes to the cage accompanied by Stemm - Face the pain. Veljko is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Sinisa Veljko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Roussow! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Roussow. Veljko is breathing heavily. Roussow throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Veljko. Roussow thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Veljko if he has to take too many more of those.
Roussow ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Roussow throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Roussow throws a right and a left that both miss. Roussow lands a head kick!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Veljko blocks a head kick by Roussow.
Roussow swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Roussow looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Roussow is working for a submission of some sort.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roussow thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Roussow is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Roussow wants to work for an arm triangle but Veljko is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Roussow is looking for a kimura but Veljko is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Roussow to get the leverage. Still in half guard, Roussow seems content to control. Roussow is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Veljko doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Roussow. Veljko is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Roussow scores with a couple of nice shots. Veljko is defending against the submission attempts here by Roussow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roussow is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Roussow passes to side control. Roussow trying to control the action but Veljko is working from the bottom. An elbow from Roussow crashes against the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roussow working the ground and pound. Roussow in side control, throwing shots but Veljko defends. Roussow is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Veljko is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Roussow is trying to land an Americana. Veljko controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Roussow decides to stand back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Roussow dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Veljko takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Roussow shoots in looking for a takedown but Veljko manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Roussow's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Veljko takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Roussow fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Veljko, pushing him back against the cage. Veljko is looking to control Roussow's arms but Roussow gets an underhook and turns him. Now Veljko has his back to the cage. Roussow lands on the inside with an uppercut. Roussow has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Veljko uses from the top position. Veljko throws a big elbow that misses. Roussow working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Veljko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Veljko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Veljko is sitting in close to Roussow's body. Roussow has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Veljko is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Veljko is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Roussow.
