The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Degas wants to clinch up but Love keeps it at a distance.
Love throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Degas's waist but Degas gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Love off to one side.
Degas doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Love holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Love keeps control of Degas as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Degas wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Love has him pressed against the cage.
