Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Pendragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mike Pendragon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jim Steel! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pendragon shoots for a double leg takedown but Steel sprawls well. He's pushed Pendragon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Pendragon throws a head kick but Steel moves out of range.
Pendragon fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A clash of legs there as Pendragon blocks the low kick. Steel defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pendragon. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Pendragon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Steel is looking to clinch. Steel tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pendragon swats him away and circles back towards the center. Steel moves to clinch but Pendragon breaks away and Pendragon counters with a single leg into guard. Steel didn't expect that. Pendragon wants to pass the guard but Steel is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steel working for a triangle but Pendragon defends it easily.
Steel is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Pendragon pushes down on Steel's leg and manages to get into half guard. Steel is trying to maintain the position but Pendragon is very close to passing his half guard. Pendragon sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Steel defending well though. Steel wants to get back to his feet. Pendragon wants to free his trapped foot but Steel is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Steel is not content to let Pendragon control the position. Pendragon sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Steel defending well though. Pendragon has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Pendragon punching from mount but Steel doing a good job of avoiding damage. Pendragon looking to secure an arm triangle but Steel defends it well. Steel really wants to buck Pendragon off and get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steel is desperately trying to improve his position but Pendragon has a good base and remains in mount. Steel wants to hold on but Pendragon pushes him away. Pendragon is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Steel has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Pendragon is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Steel to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Steel shrugs it off.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pendragon dominating with strikes here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Steel is in all sorts of trouble here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pendragon goes for an armbar but Steel turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Steel. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jim Steel showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Mike Pendragon's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

And that's the end of the fight! Jim Steel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Steel has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
