Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sagat throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Xylar looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Sagat feints and as Xylar raises his hands in defense, Sagat changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Sagat slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Sagat thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Sagat connects with a couple of short punches.
Sagat stays in close to Xylar's body and controls the position.
Sagat slips nicely into half guard.
Sagat landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Sagat works his way into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Xylar on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sagat scores with punches from side control.
Sagat in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Sagat is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Xylar looks calm but he's in trouble here. Sagat gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Xylar is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Sagat lets go of the hold and Xylar can pop his arm back in it's socket.
