Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Taz Devil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Key (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Devil comes to the cage accompanied by Motorhead-Enter Sandman. Key has chosen Till I Collapse - Eminem as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tim Key was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 14 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Taz Devil! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tim Key! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Key throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Key swings widly with a right hand
and Devil counters with a stiff right hand. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Devil lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Key has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Key and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Devil takes a swing at Key's ribcage but misses. Key fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Devil misses with a hook. Key ducked under it nicely. Key walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Key avoids the head kick by Devil.
Key checks a leg kick nicely. Key tests Devil's chin there with a solid looking shot. Key staying out of range there. Key fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Key doesn't manage to clinch there - Devil circles away.
Key ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Devil moves away. Devil throws a head kick but Key moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round. Key wants to clinch. Key lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Devil at a distance.

and Devil connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Devil checks a low kick from Key. Devil slips under a jab from Key. Devil looks for the body kick but Key saw that one coming. Key moves out of range of the strikes. Key is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Devil. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Devil, as that shot connected.

This has been an exciting period of action! The fight stays on the outside here - Key looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Key throws a combination that misses and Devil counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Devil lands a high kick!

Devil fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Key checks it well. Devil throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Key looks to land a combination but Devil avoids it well. Key just misses with a punch to the body.
Devil misses with a low kick as Key jumps back. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Key misses with a two punch combination.

That was a close round but I would say that Taz Devil will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Devil throws a jab when Key was well out of range. Key waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Devil. Devil throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Devil keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Key. Devil pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and Devil counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Key thinking. Devil takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Key bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Devil's head backwards. Devil lands a really nice looking cross but Key seems unphased.

That's one minute gone in the round. Devil uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Key. Key works over Devil's head and body with a nice combination. Key throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Devil is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Key. Devil throws a leg kick that is checked and Key cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Key fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Devil checks it well. Devil closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Key takes a body punch but keeps moving. Key keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Key thuds his right hand into Devil's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Devil thuds a left hand into Key's body. Devil dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Key. That did some damage! Good work by Key as he checks the leg kick. Key fails in his attempt to clinch. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Key in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

A telegraphed right hand from Key misses the target. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Devil fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Key is out of range. Key moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Devil misses with a wild body shot. Key fails with an attempt to clinch.

Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt. Key cracks Devil with a hook to the temple - Devil is on wobbly legs here! Key swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Devil falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Key wins by TKO!

Post fight, Tim Key took to the microphone: 'Nogi I know this wasn't the way you wanted to end your career, but I just want you to know you are a true warrior! Also I just want to give a shout out to Team Key as I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for them!'.
