The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takada lands a nice hook to Villia's body. Villia takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Villia fails with a takedown attempt.
Villia shoots in and drives through. Takada sprawls well.
Saguro Takada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Takada.
Takada cracks the inside of Villia's front leg.
A solid leg kick lands there for Takada.
Takada scores with a jab to the jaw.
Villia uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Takada has time to react.

Takada changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Villia looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The strikes coming from Takada are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
