The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fist has his takedown stuffed
and Romero counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Fist!
Fist is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Romero passes the guard and advances to mount!
Oh Fist is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Romero throwing strikes here but Fist is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Romero takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Romero is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Fist knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Fist for a finish.
Fist seems to have got his legs back now.
Fist is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Romero wants to control the position but Fist frees himself and scrambles - Romero manages to regain control in side control.

Fist is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Romero wants to take a breather but Fist manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Romero.
Fist is looking to sinch up a triangle. Romero throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Fist's body to avoid the submission. Fist has instead reached around Romero's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Fist arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
