The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coelho is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Santos closes the distance and clinches up with Coelho, looking for a takedown. Santos pushes Coelho against the cage but Coelho circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Santos looking to score a takedown here. Coelho is defending well but Santos drives through and ends up in Coelho's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Coelho wants to stand and escape but Santos is having none of it.

Santos misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

and Santos counters with a left and a right that stings Coelho.
Coelho tries to close the distance and clinch up but Santos swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Coelho tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Santos manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Santos counters with a left right combination that sends Coelho crashing to the mat - Santos wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Coelho out for a TKO! Devastating finish!
