Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Burger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hall has chosen Fire storm as his entrance music. Richard Burger has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Richard Burger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ken Hall!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hall drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Hall stands up from Burger's guard - Hall perhaps looking for a knockout.
Burger has a takedown stuffed.

Hall closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hall lands in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hall throws a big right hand that misses.
Burger is trying to control the position but Hall postures up.
Burger knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hall on the ground.
Hall trying to control but Burger is working from the bottom.
Burger wants to get back to his feet but Hall is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hall with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Hall postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Hall sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Hall is in close to Burger's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Hall chips away with some ground and pound.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hall seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Hall slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Hall goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Burger rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Hall's guard! Nice work there by Burger!

Hall has his feet on Burger's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Burger wants to clinch.

and Hall counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Burger!
Hall has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Hall lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Hall looking to control and managing it successfully.
Burger is in a horrible position here. Hall smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Hall lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hall controlling from the full mount.
Hall breaks from Burger's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hall postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Burger looks a forlorn figure.
Hall landing punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ken Hall dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Burger looks to clinch

and Hall decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Burger's guard.
Hall forces his way into half guard.
Hall working the head and body with strikes.
Burger is looking to get back to is feet but Hall passes into side control.
Hall landing a few strikes.
Hall has knee on belly and moves into mount.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hall connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Hall landing punches.
Hall has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Burger is looking to improve his position but Hall isn't that keen on the idea.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hall looking to finish Burger with some ground and pound. This is bad for Burger!
Hall lands a big shot to the head and Burger winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Ken Hall!
During a confident post fight interview, Ken Hall thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
