Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rach Ruch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul Punch struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 206.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Punch scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Ruch misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Punch.
Punch swinging wildly here.
Punch rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ruch moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ruch gets the takedown into side control.

The ground and pound from Ruch seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Punch can do anything to dispel that myth.
Ruch is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Punch knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Ruch tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ruch has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Ruch has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Punch is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Ruch yanks on the arm and Punch is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Ruch.
