Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dusty Rhodes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steel Winner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dusty Rhodes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Steel Winner! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Winner. Winner scores with a jab to the body. Winner fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rhodes manages to avoid it. Rhodes on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Rhodes misses with a takedown attempt - Winner sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Winner tries a head kick but it misses.
Rhodes takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Winner is looking to land body kicks. Winner moves out of range of the leg kick from Rhodes. Winner throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Winner pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Winner goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Winner tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rhodes was well out of range. Poor timing from Winner. Rhodes misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Winner.
That's one minute gone in the round. A kick lands to the mid section there for Winner. Rhodes is breathing heavily. Winner lands with a shot to the body. Winner is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Rhodes rather than just go for the knockout. Rhodes avoids the head kick by Winner.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Winner is looking to slow Rhodes down with leg kicks. Rhodes moves out of range of the body kick. Rhodes walks forward, straight into a front kick from Winner. An inside leg kick lands from Winner. Winner lands a right hook to the body.
Winner turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Winner throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Rhodes's head.
It looks like Dusty Rhodes has been cut. A decent looking body kick lands there for Winner. Steel Winner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Winner misses with a kick to the body.
Steel Winner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rhodes takes a kick to the side of the head. Winner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rhodes moves away. Winner swings for the body but Rhodes moves out of range.
Winner with a jab. Winner misses the shot to the body. Rhodes blocks a head kick by Winner.
Rhodes decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Winner is looking for a sweep. Rhodes is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Rhodes in particular looking to stall. Rhodes prevents Winner from improving his position. Winner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rhodes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rhodes connects with a nice short shot to Winner's temple. Winner trying to get back to full guard but Rhodes takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Rhodes sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Rhodes landing punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rhodes lands a nice shot to the head. Rhodes connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Rhodes controlling the position easily from mount. Rhodes lands with some strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steel Winner dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dusty Rhodes's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Rhodes drives through with a takedown into guard. Rhodes slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Rhodes seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Winner for as long as he can get away with. Winner is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rhodes postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rhodes slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Winner takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Rhodes takes a little break here. Winner wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Winner can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Winner is looking for a sweep. Rhodes is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Winner will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Rhodes working the ground and pound. Winner is trying to work for a sweep but Rhodes has mounted him! Rhodes landing strikes, looking to finish!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rhodes controlling from the full mount. Rhodes working the ground and pound effectively.
It looks like Steel Winner has been cut. Winner is breathing heavily. Rhodes controlling from mount. Rhodes has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Rhodes scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Winner?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Winner is working to get back to half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rhodes has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Winner's face.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rhodes looking to finish Winner with some ground and pound. This is bad for Winner! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dusty Rhodes dominated that second round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

That has opened up Steel Winner's cut even more. Winner throws a head kick that misses. Winner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Winner misses with a wild body shot. Rhodes takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Rhodes throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Winner's waist but Winner gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rhodes off to one side. Rhodes closes the distance and clinches up with Winner, looking for a takedown. Rhodes pushes Winner against the cage but Winner circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dusty Rhodes. That's going to take a lot out of him. Winner lands a nice shot to the body.
Winner looks for the body kick but Rhodes saw that one coming. Horrible takedown by Rhodes or perhaps it was just good defense by Winner which made him look bad. Winner is looking to land body kicks. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Winner ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Winner. Winner fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Rhodes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Winner.

Rhodes throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Winner's waist but Winner gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rhodes off to one side. Winner throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rhodes on the side of the head. Rhodes moves out of range of the body kick. Winner pushes Rhodes away with a front kick. Rhodes shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Winner scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Winner explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crunch! Winner slams his shin into Rhodes's torso. Rhodes takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Winner leaves Rhodes with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Winner throws the kick towards the body but Rhodes avoids it. Rhodes looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Winner. Winner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rhodes looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rhodes controlling the action here. Rhodes is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Rhodes is taking a breather. Winner says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rhodes takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Winner trying to control here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rhodes looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
And that's the end of the fight! Steel Winner comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Winner has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
