The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Riot fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Vinicius to the ground. Riot is now in Vinicius's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vinicius looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Riot is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Riot shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Vinicius napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Riot decides to stand up, so the ref orders Vinicius to his feet.
