Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Spider Trenton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trenton bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Paulo's head backwards.
Paulo doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Trenton counters with a stiff right hand.
Paulo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Trenton wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Paulo moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Trenton throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Trenton lands a body shot.
Paulo walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Paulo shoots in looking for a takedown but Trenton manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Paulo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Paulo.
Spider Trenton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maelo Paulo.
Trenton throws a good cross that connects.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Paulo takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Trenton pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Paulo back to the cage. Trenton follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Paulo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Trenton swivels and escapes.
Paulo seems to have recovered his senses.
Trenton uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Paulo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Trenton misses with a jab, cross combination.
Paulo tries to move into range but Trenton moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Spider Trenton is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Paulo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A lazy left from Trenton finds it's target.
Trenton fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Paulo is trying desperately to land a takedown but Trenton is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Paulo.
Paulo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Trenton tries to avoid it but Paulo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Trenton to the ground. Trenton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Trenton jabs Paulo right on the nose. Paulo blinks but takes it well.
Trenton stuns Paulo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Paulo takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Trenton lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Paulo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

and Trenton cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Paulo has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.

Trenton fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Paulo has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Paulo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Trenton counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Paulo shoots in and drives through. Trenton sprawls well.
Spider Trenton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Paulo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Trenton connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
A jab lands there for Trenton.
Trenton lands a body shot.
Paulo takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Paulo tries to move into range but Trenton moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Trenton's corner calls for a 1-2. Trenton obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Paulo shoots in for a takedown but Trenton shows good takedown defense.
Paulo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A left lands for Trenton.
Trenton connects with a good right hand that stumbles Paulo. Paulo circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Nice shot lands for Trenton.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
