Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Erkki Elastinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cory Trevor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Elastinen comes to the cage accompanied by Cascada - Dangerous. Trevor is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bounce Wimme Now. Cory Trevor will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Lou da Vinci and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trevor loads up on a big right hand but Elastinen slips the punch.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Trevor enables Elastinen to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Trevor manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Elastinen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Trevor swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Trevor is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Elastinen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Trevor tries to avoid it but Elastinen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Trevor to the ground. Trevor escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Erkki Elastinen.
