Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jedi Mindtricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Hades (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hades is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bon Jovi: Wanted Dead Or Alive. Mindtricks is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hades connects with a jab.

Jedi Mindtricks's cut is getting worse.
Mindtricks is breathing heavily.
Hades throws a leg kick but Mindtricks sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Hades misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mindtricks looks to throw the jab but Hades is out of range.
Mindtricks on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Hades forces Mindtricks back against the cage and clinches.
Still in the clinch, Hades scores with a nice short uppercut.
Hades leaning his opponent against the cage.
Hades stops a takedown attempt from Mindtricks.
Hades slowing the pace effectively.
Mindtricks drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hades pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hades cracks Mindtricks with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Hades is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jedi Mindtricks's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Mindtricks takes a jab right on the kisser.

Hades scores with a one two! Mindtricks had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Hades lands with a right hand.

Hades has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hades holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Mindtricks is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hades pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jedi Mindtricks. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A nice left hand lands by Hades.
Hades cracks Mindtricks with a nice body shot.

Hades is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Mindtricks can't fight it off and eventually Hades manages to take the fight to the floor. Mindtricks looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hades slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Sam Hades has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Hades scores with a sloppy right hand. Mindtricks should have avoided that one.

Jeez, Jedi Mindtricks's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

A jab-cross combination lands for Hades and sends Mindtricks crashing to the mat! Hades follows him down to the mat - Mindtricks regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jedi Mindtricks's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
