Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Regan Hendricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Felipe Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Regan Hendricks! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Luis Engracia and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hendricks lands with a shot to the body. Silva changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hendricks looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Silva staying calm. Silva's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Silva is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hendricks knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Hendricks is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hendricks is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Silva not doing much here.
Hendricks tries to roll over but Silva keeps him under control. Silva moves nicely into side control. Hendricks struggling a bit here. Silva gets to mount! Hendricks was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Silva controlling from the full mount. Hendricks is desperately trying to improve his position but Silva has a good base and remains in mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva looking to control and managing it successfully. Hendricks is trying to escape the mount.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hendricks has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. Silva tightening his grip on Hendricks, looking for the choke. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hendricks tries to roll but Silva sticks to his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva working for the choke. Silva controls the position. Hendricks showing good submission defense here.
Hendricks wants to escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hendricks is trapped and Silva is scoring with shots to the head and body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Silva has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Hendricks has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Silva is working the ground and pound. Can Hendricks escape?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hendricks controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Silva controls the action. Silva is working for a rear naked choke. Hendricks is not defending it well and Silva has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Hendricks refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Hendricks's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
