Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gracie might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Michel Teló - Ai Se Eu Te Pego . Xavier Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Xavier Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roberto Kim! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kim closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gracie to the mat! Gracie manages to get full guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Kim throws an elbow that misses. Gracie uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kim's guard. Nice move by Gracie! Kim looking for a sweep. Not yet Kim, not yet. Gracie passes easily into side control. Nice work. Gracie looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Kim is looking to reverse the position. Gracie cracks Kim with a big elbow. Kim tries to improve position but can't. Gracie trying to control the action but Kim is working from the bottom. Gracie is really struggling to control Kim but he's trying to hold on to the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie taking a break here but Kim is having none of it and regains half guard. Kim tries to roll over but Gracie keeps him under control. Kim looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Kim is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gracie pulls his head out easily. Gracie not landing any meaningful shots this time. Gracie is trying to control. Kim wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Kim actively working from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Kim is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gracie pulls his head out easily. Kim tries to roll over but Gracie keeps him under control. Ground and pound from Gracie. Kim is trying to get back to full guard. Kim regains full guard. Nicely done. Kim is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gracie defends well. Kim keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim is striking but Gracie is not phased and passes to half guard. Kim gets back to full guard.
Gracie stands up over Kim, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Kim manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kim is landing with some decent strikes but Gracie is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Kim throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Gracie is trying desperately to improve position. Gracie manages to work a leg through to get back to half guard here. Good work there by Gracie, under a barage of strikes from Kim.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie trying to hold on to Kim's head to control him but Kim postures up.
Kim scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kim throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Kim stalling away here and it's allowed Gracie to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Kim with a flurry of punches that miss. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gracie looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kim accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roberto Kim dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Kim gets the takedown into side control. Gracie manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Kim looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Gracie passes the guard and advances to mount! Roberto Kim has got the better of the ground game so far. Kim can't escape the position.

Kim sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kim keeps working. Gracie is looking for a kimura but Kim is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gracie to get the leverage.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie pushing down on Kim's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Gracie wants to control but Kim is keeping him busy. Gracie sitting and controlling from the half guard. Gracie is trying to control. Kim wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Ground and pound from Gracie. Kim blocking the ground and pound attempt from Gracie. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gracie trying to control from Kim's half guard. Kim has other ideas though and has regained full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gracie is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Kim is looking to sweep but instead, Gracie has passed into half guard.

Kim thows a body shot but no joy. Kim throws a jab when Gracie was well out of range. Kim misses with an uppercut. Roberto Kim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kim shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gracie napping and manages to drive through into side control! Kim postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Kim scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Gracie to see if he's OK. Gracie is trying to improve his position. Kim lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Kim throws a strike aimed at the side of Gracie's head but Gracie avoids it well. Kim fails to land a wild elbow strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kim throwing shots but missing, from side control. Kim creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Gracie sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Gracie tries to improve position but can't. Kim landing strikes. Kim tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kim has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Kim is putting a hurting on Gracie here, landing some big shots from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kim tries to score with some ground and pound. Gracie controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Check out the look on Kim's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Kim misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

You can see the frustration on Gracie's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Kim looks up at the clock and then as Gracie takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kim smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Gracie is rocked! Gracie takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Oh Gracie is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Kim cracks Gracie with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Kim immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Gracie is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Kim!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roberto Kim! A relieved looking Roberto Kim thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
