18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Oscar Salcedo! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martin throws a right and a left that Salcedo avoids nicely. Martin takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Martin lands a nice looking body kick. Salcedo lands with a nice body punch. Salcedo misses with a hook
and Martin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Martin throws the left hand but Salcedo avoids the punch easily. Dustin Martin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Martin tries to clinch up but Salcedo circles away and keeps his distance. Martin lands with a kick to the temple. Salcedo shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Oscar Salcedo has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Martin throws a head kick that half lands.
Salcedo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Martin swivels and escapes. Salcedo dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Martin lands a jab to the nose. Martin uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Salcedo has time to react. Salcedo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Martin pinned against the cage. Martin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Martin fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Salcedo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Martin throws a head kick that misses. Salcedo drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Martin fails with an attempt to clinch.

A looping hook to the body misses from Martin. Salcedo does a little dance to reset his feet. Martin misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Salcedo.
Martin misses with a hook. Martin tries to clinch but Salcedo moves out of range. Martin is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Martin lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Martin lands a glancing blow to the side of Salcedo's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Martin moves out of range of the leg kick from Salcedo. Salcedo takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Martin with a jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Martin ducks under a wild hook from Salcedo. Salcedo lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Salcedo has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Martin finds it's way round the side to connect with Salcedo's head.
Salcedo is rocked! Salcedo misses with a straight right. Salcedo is still on wobbly legs! Can Martin finish him? Look low, kick high! Martin uses the oldest trick in the book to send Salcedo tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Martin is absolutely delighted - when Salcedo wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
