Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Lindberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Striker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kyle Lindberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Striker!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Striker connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Lindberg tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lindberg throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Striker misses with a double jab.
Striker bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lindberg's head backwards.
Lindberg takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Striker connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Lindberg missing with a left hand there. Striker was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Striker moves into the clinch.
Striker is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Striker tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lindberg smiles and moves away.
Lindberg moves into range and clinches up with Striker.
Lindberg tries to land a knee to the head but Striker blocks with his arms.
Striker misses with the head strike.
Lindberg putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Striker in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Striker tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Lindberg's elbow.
Striker misses with a hook to the ribs.
Lindberg with a knee to the head.
It looks like Jason Striker has been cut.
Lindberg connects with a knee to the head.
Striker is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lindberg has Striker pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Striker is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Lindberg - that's hurt Striker badly! Oh, another knee lands and Striker is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Striker doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Kyle Lindberg!
