The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Cake.
Cake fails to land the takedown.
Fuller shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cake defends it nicely.
Cake shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fuller pinned against the cage. Fuller gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Eric Fuller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erik Cake.
Cake shoots in for a double leg but Fuller sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Fuller slaps away a takedown attempt from Cake, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Cake connects with an inside leg kick.
Fuller drives through and clinches with Cake against the cage.
Cake breaks the clinch.
Cake fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fuller sprawls well initially but Cake persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Fuller slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Fuller wants to sweep here but Cake controlling him for the moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fuller pushes Cake off and gets back to his feet.
Fuller blocks a head kick by Cake.
Fuller shoots in looking for a takedown but Cake manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fuller's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Cake throws a sloppy head kick and Fuller moves out of range easily.
Fuller changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cake looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Fuller is working Cake over with some ground and pound from side control.

Cake can't do much from the bottom here.
Fuller tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Fuller wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cake keeps working.
Cake is looking for a sweep.

Cake wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Fuller has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Cake's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Cake is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Fuller!
