The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salaam jabbing away but nothing is landing.

It looks like Peyton Hillis has been cut.
Hillis scores with a hook to the body. Salaam takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hillis scores with a shot to the body.
Hillis lands a left and a right that send Salaam crashing to the mat, dazed. Hillis thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Salaam is rocked!
It looks like Geiger Salaam has been cut.
Salaam is breathing heavily.
Hillis throws a nice looking combination but Salaam bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Oh Salaam is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Salaam walks straight into a right hand from Hillis - that's dropped him! Hillis jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Salaam from any more punishment! Salaam complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Peyton Hillis!
