Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yashima Hanko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yashima Hanko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thomas Jones! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick from Hanko lands but Jones takes it in his stride. Hanko looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Hanko closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hanko lands in his opponent's guard. Hanko won't allow Jones to sweep him here. Jones seems keen to control Hanko's posture. Jones is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Jones is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hanko wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. Jones wants to sweep here but Hanko controlling him for the moment. Jones is trying to control the position but Hanko postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hanko trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones has control of Hanko's left arm, preventing Hanko from doing any damage.
Despite being in the dominant position, Thomas Jones just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jones takes the fight into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones fails to pull guard.
Hanko tries to pull guard but Jones holds him up against the cage and eventually Hanko drops back down to his feet.
Hanko misses with a short punch on the inside. Jones pulls guard successfully.
Jones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Jones seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Jones decides to stand and escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Hanko keeps the fight on the outside. Jones throws a series of punches but Hanko moves out of range. Jones looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Oooh a lovely combination from Jones sends Hanko down but not out. Jones dives into side control looking to finish.
Hanko is rocked!
It looks like Yashima Hanko has been cut. Hanko seems a little lost for a moment, as Jones dominates the positioning. Oh Hanko is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Jones decides to stand back up. Jones tries to clinch there but Hanko circles away.
Hanko seems to have got his legs back now. Jones fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jones gets a clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Jones softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Jones pulls guard successfully.
Jones pushes Hanko off and scrambles back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thomas Jones dominated that round. The cut man is working on Yashima Hanko's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Hanko keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Nice body kick there by Jones. Thomas Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hanko as he jumps to the side. Jones scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Jones has a takedown stuffed. Yashima Hanko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Jones. Jones connects with a looping right hand.
Hanko swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones. Hanko tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hanko circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jones scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hanko is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Hanko regains half guard. Hanko tries to roll over but Jones keeps him under control. Jones not doing much here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Jones has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Jones landing strikes, looking to finish!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hanko really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Jones content just to control the position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thomas Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Yashima Hanko's cut. That's time! Hanko's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Jones stalks Hanko and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hanko's face. Hanko staggers backwards, shaken. Jones clinches. Jones misses with a knee strike.
Jones content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Jones tries for a takedown. No joy.
Jones lands an elbow inside that Hanko shrugs off. Jones manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Jones is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Jones wants to sweep but no luck. Jones is controlling Hanko's posture. Jones looking for a guillotine here but Hanko defends easily.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hanko wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. Jones wants to sweep here but Hanko controlling him for the moment. Jones lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hanko!
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Jones content just to control the position here. Jones can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hanko is looking to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Hanko wants to hold on but Jones pushes him away. Jones putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Jones scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Hanko?
Jones takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hanko tries to reverse the position but Jones maintains control.
And that's the end of the fight! Thomas Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
