Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yoshirou Taro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Boozer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yoshirou Taro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dick Boozer! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boozer avoids the head kick by Taro.
Taro thuds a left hand into Boozer's body. Taro really is a fat lump. Taro misses with the combination.
Taro looks to land a right hand but Boozer moved out of range. Taro just misses with a punch to the body.
Taro misses with a straight right. Yoshirou Taro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Taro fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Boozer manages to avoid it. Taro throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Taro closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Taro lands in his opponent's guard. Taro works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taro thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Boozer's head. Boozer tries to get to full guard but Taro has control of the leg. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Boozer can do anything to dispel that myth. Boozer has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Taro is working away from the top position though. Taro sitting and controlling from the half guard. Boozer wants to get back to full guard. Boozer is refusing to be controlled, as Taro sits in half guard. Taro throwing shots but Boozer is blocking nicely. Boozer is trying to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Taro throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Boozer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Taro fails to land with a series of punches.
Taro will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Taro looks to land a body kick but Boozer moved away. Taro rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Boozer moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Boozer lands with a thumping leg kick.
Taro is breathing heavily. Boozer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Boozer fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Taro is out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Taro checks a low kick from Boozer. A punch combination from Boozer misses. Taro looks for a takedown but Boozer sprawls well. Boozer shoots in for a takedown but Taro shows good takedown defense. A punch lands to the side of Taro 's head but he takes it in his stride. No joy there for Boozer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Boozer counters with a nice body shot. Boozer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Taro but Taro pushes him off and we're back to square one. Boozer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Taro.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Taro uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Boozer.
Boozer tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Some wild striking there from Boozer.
Boozer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Yoshirou Taro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dick Boozer. Taro closes the distance but Boozer moves to the side and Boozer moves into the clinch. Boozer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Taro circles away from the clinch attempt.
Taro slow jab from Boozer misses its intended target. A left and a right from Boozer both land. Nice combination. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Dick Boozer will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Boozer misses with a low kick. A head kick by Taro misses and Boozer counters with a nice body kick. Taro checks a low kick from Boozer. Taro needs to keep his hands up - Boozer had a free shot at his head there. Boozer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Taro had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Boozer is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Taro Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Boozer's back instead. Boozer manages to reverse the position and now he's in Taro's guard. Nice work there by Boozer.
Taro wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Taro controls Boozer momentarily but Boozer frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boozer won't allow Taro to sweep him here. Boozer is breathing heavily. Taro is trying to keep Boozer in close.
Boozer preventing the sweep. Boozer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Taro looking for a guillotine here but Boozer defends easily.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Taro looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Taro looking to hit a scissor sweep but Boozer is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Boozer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Taro throws a predictable looking body shot
and Boozer counters with a three punch combo that has Taro backing up. Taro nods at Boozer to acknowledge the strikes. Taro rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Boozer counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Boozer takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Taro takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Boozer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Boozer has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Taro's face.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Taro is working hard here to advance position. Taro swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Taro tries to get back to half guard but can't. Taro might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Taro regains half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Boozer is thwarting Taro's attempts to control the position. Taro tries to get to full guard but Boozer has control of the leg. Boozer is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Taro doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Boozer. Taro trying to control but Boozer postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dick Boozer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Boozer ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Taro throws a body kick the misses and Boozer counters with an outside leg kick.
Taro misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Taro shoots in and drives through. Boozer sprawls well. Taro looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Taro throws a sloppy head kick and Boozer counters with a shoot takedown. Taro fights it but they end up in guard. Taro is striking but Boozer is not phased and passes to half guard. Taro wants to get back to full guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Boozer lands a nice short elbow. Taro actively working from the bottom here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boozer is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Nice strikes from Boozer there. Taro is pressing down on Boozer's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Boozer trying to control the position from guard on top but Taro is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Boozer keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Taro's head. Taro is looking for a triangle but Boozer pushes his legs off easily.
Taro will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Boozer wants to control from the top but Taro keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Taro controlling the position. Taro looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Taro is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Boozer content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Taro tries to land a sweep but no joy. Taro trying to keep a closed guard but Boozer is proving a slippery customer.
Taro wants to sweep here but Boozer controlling him for the moment. Taro is looking to stand up but Boozer isn't so interested in that idea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Taro keeping moving, preventing Boozer from controlling successfully. Boozer is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Boozer tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Boozer tries to work over Taro's front leg with a kick but Taro checks it. Taro comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Boozer throws a left and a right that both miss
and Taro moves into the clinch. Taro tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Taro prevents the takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Boozer tries to land knees in the clinch but Taro avoids the damage to the body. Boozer blocks an uppercut.
Taro is trying to break free. Taro managing to block the knees to the body from Boozer.
Boozer lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Taro or not. Boozer wants the takedown. Taro is fighting it off but Boozer persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Taro's guard against the cage. Taro working for a triangle but Boozer defends it easily.
Yoshirou Taro has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boozer content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Taro is looking to sweep but instead, Boozer has passed into half guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Dick Boozer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Boozer winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
