Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Roman Silnov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Viktor Kyshenko! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Vladimir Khabensky and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kyshenko lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Roman Silnov has been cut. Kyshenko buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Nice uppercut lands for Kyshenko. That snapped Silnov's head back.
Silnov lands a jab to Kyshenko's midsection. Nice body punch from Kyshenko. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kyshenko tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silnov swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kyshenko fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Silnov, pushing him back against the cage. Silnov tries a body shot but Kyshenko blocks it.
Kyshenko wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Kyshenko pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kyshenko throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Kyshenko misses with a wild combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kyshenko pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Silnov avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Silnov takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Silnov looks to score with a jab to the body but Kyshenko is just out of range. Viktor Kyshenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kyshenko throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Silnov holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Silnov prevents Kyshenko from breaking the clinch. Kyshenko breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kyshenko throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kyshenko misses with a low kick. The fight stays on the outside here - Silnov looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Silnov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A good leg kick by Kyshenko. A punch combination from Kyshenko misses. Kyshenko throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Silnov is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kyshenko lands a nice leg kick that just misses Silnov's sensitive parts. Silnov blocks the body kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kyshenko is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A slapping body kick lands there for Kyshenko. Kyshenko will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Silnov stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kyshenko. Kyshenko buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kyshenko throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kyshenko lands a head kick. Silnov smiles back at him and beckons him forward. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kyshenko scoring well with a low kick there.
Kyshenko scores with a hook to the body. Silnov takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Viktor Kyshenko dominated that round. The cut man is working on Roman Silnov's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Kyshenko throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Silnov bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kyshenko's head. Kyshenko will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Silnov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kyshenko was well out of range. Poor timing from Silnov. Viktor Kyshenko is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kyshenko throws a right hand that Silnov ducks under and follows up with a left that Silnov also avoids with ease. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Silnov punishes Kyshenko's body with a nice straight punch. Kyshenko avoids a punch combination nicely.

Silnov slips a jab from Kyshenko. Silnov tries to clinch but fails miserably and Kyshenko counters with a body kick that stops Silnov in his tracks momentarily. Kyshenko on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Silnov swings for the body but Kyshenko moves out of range.

Silnov tries to clinch up. Kyshenko throws a jab when Silnov was well out of range. Kyshenko throws a leg kick which misses Silnov's front leg but catches the back leg as Silnov tries to avoid it. Kyshenko misses with an uppercut
and Silnov counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Silnov can't break the clinch.
Kyshenko breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kyshenko throws a body punch but Silnov moves out of range. Silnov dodges the punch combination from Kyshenko.

Silnov keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kyshenko's efforts to push away. Kyshenko has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kyshenko prevents a body shot from Silnov. A frustrated look appears on Kyshenko's face as he tries to break the clinch. Kyshenko is trying to break the clinch but Silnov has him pressed against the cage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Silnov keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kyshenko's efforts to push away. Silnov is working Kyshenko over against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Viktor Kyshenko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Roman Silnov's cut. That's the end of the interval. Silnov is looking to wear down Kyshenko with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Kyshenko plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Silnov tries to clinch up. No joy there for Kyshenko, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Kyshenko takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kyshenko thows a body shot but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kyshenko pushes Silnov up against the cage in a clinch. Silnov is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Silnov struggles to land a body shot inside as Kyshenko controls his hands.
Silnov is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Kyshenko's face as he tries to break the clinch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Silnov tries to work over Kyshenko's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Kyshenko tries to break the clinch but Silnov is controlling the position. Kyshenko looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Kyshenko breaks from the clinch.

Kyshenko tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Silnov scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kyshenko doesn't seem bothered though. Roman Silnov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Silnov throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silnov looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Silnov is looking to clinch but Kyshenko is avoiding it.

Viktor Kyshenko is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Kyshenko throws a head kick but Silnov moves out of range.
And that's the end of the fight! Viktor Kyshenko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kyshenko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
