The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Geeren jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Van Geeren looks to throw the jab but Peric is out of range.
A solid leg kick lands there for Peric.
Peric lands a leg kick that knocks Van Geeren off balance momentarily.
Van Geeren on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Crunch! Peric slams his shin into Van Geeren's torso.
Van Geeren takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Emiel Van Geeren has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Peric lands a big head kick that sends Van Geeren to the canvas! Peric follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
