The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knowles Jr moves in looking to clinch but Jefferson pushes him off.
Jefferson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Knowles Jr throws a series of punches but Jefferson avoids them all with ease.
Knowles Jr keeps Jefferson at a distance using the push kick.
Jefferson tries to clinch up
and Knowles Jr counters with a low kick, right behind Jefferson 's knee.
Knowles Jr scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jefferson doesn't seem bothered though.
