Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lance Nasri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Fedorov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Alexander Fedorov was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nasri lands a slapping body shot.
Nasri looks to score with a jab to the body but Fedorov is just out of range.
Nasri connects with a body shot that sends Fedorov's belly button to the back.
No joy there for Nasri, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fedorov.
Fedorov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nasri.
Fedorov shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Fedorov shoots in looking for a takedown. Nasri tries to sprawl out of it but Fedorov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nasri manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lance Nasri has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Fedorov.

Alexander Fedorov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fedorov takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Nasri keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Fedorov ducks right into an uppercut from Nasri.
Nasri cracks Fedorov with a good jab.
Nasri is looking to wear down Fedorov with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fedorov tries for a takedown but Nasri circles away easily
and Nasri counters with a stiff right hand.
Nasri connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Fedorov is rocked!
Fedorov is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Nasri moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lance Nasri!
