Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between cm Punk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Case Cassidy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cassidy has chosen I Need A Doctor by Dr. Dre as his entrance music. cm Punk could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Case Cassidy's chin.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cassidy scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Punk moves out of range of the leg kick from Cassidy.
Punk fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Cassidy to the ground. Punk is now in Cassidy's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cassidy is on top in guard.
Cassidy wants to control from the top but Punk keeps moving.
Punk can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Cassidy controls the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Punk accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cassidy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Punk gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Punk stands and throws Cassidy's legs to the side, diving into side control.

That was a close round but I would say that cm Punk will probably get the nod.
That's time! Punk's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Punk moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Cassidy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Punk has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Cassidy is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Punk tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
