And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Bruno Lombardi and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woolfolk keeps the fight on the outside.
Cruzata should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Cruzata tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Cruzata tries to clinch there but Woolfolk circles away.
Woolfolk walks into a stiff left hand from Cruzata.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Woolfolk is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Cruzata will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Woolfolk has an Americana. Cruzata didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Woolfolk is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Woolfolk hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Joe Woolfolk!
