Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nicholas Etch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Syrus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nicholas Etch could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tyson Syrus's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nicholas Etch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tyson Syrus!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Etch misses with a takedown attempt - Syrus sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Etch shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Syrus pinned against the cage. Syrus gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Etch fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nicholas Etch. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Etch changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Syrus tries to avoid it but Etch manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Syrus to the ground. Syrus escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Horrible takedown by Etch or perhaps it was just good defense by Syrus which made him look bad.
No luck for Etch with that takedown attempt.
Etch blocks a head kick by Syrus.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Etch fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Etch shoots in for a double leg but Syrus sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Etch tries to clinch up.
Syrus stuffs the takedown attempt from Etch. Etch gets slowly back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Etch fails to land the takedown.
Etch is breathing heavily.
Syrus gets a takedown into half guard.
Etch won't allow Syrus to pass to mount.
Syrus works his way into full mount!
Syrus takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Etch is trying to reverse the position but instead Syrus has taken his back - oops!
Etch trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Syrus has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Etch's body.
Etch covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Syrus is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Etch knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Etch for a finish.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Etch is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Syrus has the hooks in. Etch is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Syrus working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Etch is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Syrus has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Etch taps out!
