Jones comes to the ring accompanied by Pimp C. Skrypture, C$krilla ft. Bun B & The Isleys - One Day. Justin Anthony acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the ring.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

20 - 8 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Justin Anthony!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Anthony moves out of range of the body kick.
Jones swings for the body but Anthony moves out of range.
Jones gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Anthony moves away.
Jones scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Anthony to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.
It looks like Justin Anthony has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Anthony throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Jones.
James Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Anthony dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A bone on bone clash there as Anthony blocks the leg kick.

Jones swings for the body but Anthony moves out of range.
Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Anthony moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A low kick from Jones is predictable there
and Anthony counters with a right hand to the body.
Jones digs a good body shot into Anthony's ribs.
A chopping leg kick lands by Anthony.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jones fails to land with a series of punches.
Anthony misses with a two punch combination.
Jones uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Anthony has time to react.
Jones throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jones misses with a body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jones scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Anthony to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Jones away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Anthony got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!
Anthony throws a head kick that misses.
Jones closes the distance and catches Anthony with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Anthony is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Anthony is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Anthony is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Jones takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). James Jones!
James Jones retains his middleweight title!
After the fight, James Jones was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
