Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brett Hatt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wu Tang Fu!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fu scores with a head kick. Hatt tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
A swing and a miss from Hatt.

Hatt closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fu to the mat! Fu manages to get full guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Hatt trying to control the position from guard on top but Fu is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Fu trying to keep a closed guard but Hatt is proving a slippery customer.
Fu keeping moving, preventing Hatt from controlling successfully.
Fu is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Hatt wants to control from the top but Fu keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hatt misses with a straight right.

Hatt closes the distance and pushes Fu back into the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hatt misses with some punches.
Hatt takes a knee to the side of the body.
Hatt is breathing heavily.
Hatt wants a takedown.
Fu is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Hatt working aggressively here.
Fu scores with a knee to the head.


It looks like Brett Hatt has been cut.
Fu working Hatt over with knees to the body.
Hatt takes a knee to the side of the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fu lands a knee to the body.

Fu jumps guard.
Hatt has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Fu is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Fu is looking for a kimura here.
Hatt is staying active underneath Fu, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Fu not landing any meaningful shots this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fu trying to pass the guard but Hatt defending well.
Hatt has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fu is working away from the top position though.
Fu is looking to advance position but Hatt won't allow it.
Hatt is not content to let Fu control the position.
Hatt wants to get back to full guard.
Hatt is working hard here to advance position.
Hatt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fu on the ground.
Fu wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hatt keeps working.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Wu Tang Fu wasn't active enough on the ground.
Fu scores with a shot to the body.

Fu is looking to slow Hatt down with leg kicks.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Fu scores with a kick to the midsection.
Nice shot lands for Fu.
A nice leg kick lands there from Fu.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hatt takes a kick to the side of the head.
Fu connects with a leg kick. Hatt looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Fu lands a high kick to the side of Hatt's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Fu dives into guard, looking to finish.


Hatt is rocked!
Fu trying to control the position from guard on top but Hatt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Oh Hatt is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fu throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Fu wants to control from the top but Hatt keeps moving.
Hatt seems to have got his legs back now.
Fu forces his way into half guard.
Fu passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Hatt!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fu can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hatt is looking to escape.

Fu stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Fu chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Hatt takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Hatt takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Fu throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hatt.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Fu scores with a leg kick.
Hatt takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Fu throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Hatt drops his hands momentarily and Fu needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Hatt just on the top of the head. Hatt drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Hatt - he's done!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Wu Tang Fu!
After winning the bout, Wu Tang Fu thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
