Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alan Corke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Armin Van Hellsing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Hellsing has chosen Pendulum - Tarantula as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alan Corke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Armin Van Hellsing! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Corke moves out of range of the body kick from Van Hellsing.
Corke cracks Van Hellsing with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Van Hellsing throws a push kick but Corke slaps the foot to one side. Corke circles away from the clinch attempt.
Van Hellsing tries to land a front kick but Corke steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Van Hellsing closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Alan Corke has been cut. Van Hellsing shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Corke manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Corke has a closed guard, preventing Van Hellsing from standing up. Corke looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Corke is looking for a triangle but Van Hellsing pushes his legs off easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Van Hellsing trying to control the position from guard on top but Corke is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Corke looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Corke escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Van Hellsing gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Corke is breathing heavily. Van Hellsing would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Van Hellsing makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Corke is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Van Hellsing wants to stand but Corke is controlling his posture from full guard. Van Hellsing is working Corke over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Corke is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Van Hellsing is aware though and is defending well. Corke looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Van Hellsing has picked Corke up and slammed him! Corke can't keep hold of the triangle and Van Hellsing manages to pass to side control! Corke regains half guard. Corke keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Corke looking for submissions off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Van Hellsing decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Van Hellsing closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Corke to the mat! Corke manages to get full guard. Corke working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Van Hellsing doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Van Hellsing manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Van Hellsing is looking to work some ground and pound but Corke has wrist control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Van Hellsing is looking to stand up but Corke won't let him. Van Hellsing loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Corke has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Van Hellsing can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Van Hellsing trying to control but Corke is working from the bottom. Corke escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Van Hellsing gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Van Hellsing really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Corke. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Corke keeping moving, preventing Van Hellsing from controlling successfully. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Van Hellsing with a flurry of punches that miss. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Alan Corke will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Alan Corke's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Van Hellsing lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Corke circles away quickly and effectively. Corke closes this distance looking for a takedown but Van Hellsing circles away. Van Hellsing shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Van Hellsing showed some decent athleticism there. Corke is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Van Hellsing pulls his head out easily. Van Hellsing is keen to just control but Corke is a slippery customer. Corke wants to improve his position but Van Hellsing is controlling well.
Alan Corke overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Corke keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Corke is not content to let Van Hellsing control the position. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Corke is looking for a sweep. Van Hellsing is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Corke actively working from the bottom here. Van Hellsing is trying to control the action in half guard but Corke is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Armin Van Hellsing has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Van Hellsing moves in looking to clinch but Corke pushes him off. Van Hellsing looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Corke! Van Hellsing tries to control but Corke wriggling away. Corke is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Corke taking shots to the head. Van Hellsing wants to control the pace but Corke is squirming around nicely. Corke gets back to half guard. Corke works his way to full guard. Good work. Corke looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Van Hellsing is defending well. Corke quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Van Hellsing has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Corke celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
