Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Garrett Bisley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and El Chihuahua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bisley's entrance music is Johnny Cash - God's Gonna Cut You Down. A fine choice. Chihuahua is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Cypress Hill - Rise Up. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Garrett Bisley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, El Chihuahua!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bisley misses the jab.
Chihuahua connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Chihuahua throws a head kick that misses.
Chihuahua slips under a jab from Bisley.
Chihuahua throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bisley stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Bisley lands with a nice body punch.
Chihuahua dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bisley. That did some damage!
Bisley misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Chihuahua.
Bisley connects with a body shot that sends Chihuahua's belly button to the back.
Chihuahua scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Chihuahua uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bisley.

Chihuahua throws a lazy right hand but Bisley sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Chihuahua throws a low kick but Bisley moves out of range easily.
Chihuahua throws a shot from downtown. Bisley moves away and avoids it.
Chihuahua circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bisley looks to score with a jab to the body but Chihuahua is just out of range.
Bisley just misses with a punch to the body.
Bisley moves away from the strike by Chihuahua.
Bisley shoots in for a takedown but Chihuahua shows good takedown defense.
Bisley tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chihuahua was well out of range. Poor timing from Bisley.
Bisley fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Chihuahua dips to his left and cracks Bisley with an uppercut!
Bisley has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Chihuahua.
Chihuahua misses with an uppercut. Bisley saw that one coming.

Bisley darts in and clinches Chihuahua up against the cage.
Bisley throws a punch but it's blocked by Chihuahua.

Bisley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bisley throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bisley lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Bisley throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chihuahua buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Bisley throws a body punch but Chihuahua moves out of range.
Chihuahua moves away from the strike by Bisley.
Bisley on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Chihuahua is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bisley.
Bisley misses with a straight left.
Chihuahua ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Chihuahua pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Bisley back to the cage. Chihuahua follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Bisley scores a takedown into full mount!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Bisley wants to control the pace but Chihuahua is squirming around nicely.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Chihuahua is in all sorts of trouble here.

Chihuahua is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Bisley jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Chihuahua is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Chihuahua and Bisley has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Chihuahua manages to work his way to half guard, despite Bisley's best efforts.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bisley is looking for a kimura here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bisley is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but El Chihuahua will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Chihuahua pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bisley is out of range and Chihuahua settles back down.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Bisley is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Chihuahua's half guard.
Bisley thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chihuahua's head.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chihuahua can do anything to dispel that myth.
Chihuahua is not content to let Bisley control the position.
Bisley is nestled in close to Chihuahua, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Bisley closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Chihuahua did well to prevent Bisley getting side control.

Bisley shoots in looking for a takedown. Chihuahua tries to sprawl out of it but Bisley keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chihuahua manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Bisley lands a nice hook to Chihuahua's body. Chihuahua takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Chihuahua swings for the body but Bisley moves out of range.
Chihuahua throws a hook to the side of Bisley's head but Bisley sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Bisley moves into the clinch successfully.
Bisley doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Bisley has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Chihuahua after a bit of a struggle.

Bisley is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Bisley is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Chihuahua is aware though and is defending well.

Bisley working a defensive guard but Chihuahua manages to pass into side control anyway.
Chihuahua remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Bisley regains full guard. Nicely done.

Chihuahua got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bisley has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chihuahua has managed to get both his arms back between Bisley's legs - danger averted.

Bisley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chihuahua gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Garrett Bisley overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Chihuahua won't allow Bisley to sweep him here.

And that's the end of the fight!
Garrett Bisley showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Bisley has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Garrett Bisley really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Syndicate Nutrition (DUS) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
