Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Eric Mac! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jeffrey Ramirez! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramirez swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Ramirez fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mac manages to avoid it. Ramirez shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mac is trying to defend but Ramirez finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Ramirez seems to be working for a kimura but Mac defends the submission attempt. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jeffrey Ramirez wasn't active enough on the ground. Ramirez dives in and scores a takedown into Mac's guard. Ramirez slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Ramirez wants to pass the guard but Mac is keeping the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jeffrey Ramirez. Ramirez stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mac. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Ramirez throws a right hand that Mac ducks under and follows up with a left that Mac also avoids with ease. Ramirez drives through with a takedown into Mac's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Ramirez pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mac is keeping the position for now. Ramirez's corner is telling him to maintain position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ramirez swings wildly with an uppercut but Mac uses good head movement to avoid it. Ramirez avoiding damage as Mac throws knees to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ramirez is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Mac is keeping busy. Mac throws a knee to the head but misses.
Mac throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Ramirez blocks it with crossed arms. Ramirez is looking for a takedown. Mac lands a knee to the head.

Mac is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Ramirez is defending well for now. Mac lands a good knee to the midsection. Ramirez won't want to take too many of those. Ramirez wants to stall.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mac looking to throw knees to the head but Ramirez is blocking nicely.
Mac gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Ramirez.

Ramirez shoots in and gets a takedown into Mac's guard. Mac being controlled here, momentarily. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Jeffrey Ramirez hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Ramirez throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mac sees it coming and avoids it easily. Mac wants to slow Ramirez down by chopping away at his legs. Ramirez throws a nice looking combination but Mac bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ramirez looks to land a left hand but Mac moved out of range nicely. A left lands for Ramirez. Mac throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ramirez counters with a straight right hand. Ramirez lands a jab to the head.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mac throws a leg kick but Ramirez sees it coming and checks it nicely. Ramirez scores with a jab to the head.

That's one minute gone in the round. Mac is looking to clinch. Ramirez gets the takedown into side control. Ramirez happy to just control the position for now.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jeffrey Ramirez was stalling too much, according to the referee. Mac takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. A combination from Ramirez does no damage. Mac tries to clinch up but Ramirez circles away and keeps his distance. Ramirez digs a good body shot into Mac's ribs. Ramirez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mac tries to clinch but Ramirez is having none of it. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mac is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Mac defending well as Ramirez loads up on a big left hand. Ramirez lands a body shot.
Mac takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Mac slips under a jab from Ramirez. Ramirez dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Ramirez lands a nice hook to Mac's body. Mac takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ramirez is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Mac's half guard. Ramirez sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Mac defending well though. Ramirez seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Ramirez frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ramirez controlling from the full mount. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jeffrey Ramirez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Mac fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Ramirez checks it well. Ramirez throws a lazy right hand but Mac sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Mac keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ramirez cracks Mac with an open hand slap. Mac dodges the punch combination from Ramirez.
Mac gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ramirez passes into half guard. Ramirez has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Ramirez not doing much here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ramirez moves into full mount! Mac won't be happy about that! Ramirez content just to control the position here. Jeffrey Ramirez has got the better of the ground game so far.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jeffrey Ramirez was stalling too much, according to the referee. The fighters circling - Ramirez throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Ramirez keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Mac takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Mac tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Nice shot lands for Ramirez. Ramirez feints and as Mac raises his hands in defense, Ramirez changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ramirez content to stall in guard here.

Ramirez fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mac sprawls well initially but Ramirez persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Ramirez controlling the action here. Ramirez tries to pass to full mount but Mac defends it.
And that's the end of the fight! Jeffrey Ramirez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Ramirez winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
