Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Striker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Callan Kelly! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kelly moves into the clinch successfully.

Kelly stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kelly wants it to stay on the feet. Kelly darts in and clinches Striker up against the cage. Striker tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kelly smiles and moves away.

Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Striker wants to get back to striking at distance but Kelly won't allow it.

Striker tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kelly swivels and escapes. Striker instigates a clinch. Kelly breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kelly moves into the clinch. Striker fails to pull guard.

Callan Kelly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Striker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kelly's waist but Kelly gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Striker off to one side. Striker misses with a takedown attempt - Kelly sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Striker is breathing heavily. Striker shoots in but no luck this time. Callan Kelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This has been an exciting period of action! Kelly gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Kelly obliges. Striker jumps guard but Kelly turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Kelly lands a nice knee to the body. Striker shoots in looking for a takedown but Kelly manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Striker's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Kelly gets in close and instigates a clinch. Kelly manages to break the clinch.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Striker crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kelly - the referee stops the clock and Striker gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kelly. Striker manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kelly drives through and clinches with Striker against the cage.
Kelly is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Kelly effectively controlling the action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Callan Kelly dominated that round. That's time! Striker's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Kelly gets in close and instigates a clinch. Kelly is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Kelly in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Kelly fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Striker, pushing him back against the cage. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Kelly takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Striker is trying to pull guard but Kelly has him pressed against the cage. Callan Kelly seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Striker tries to pull guard but Kelly won't allow it.
Kelly with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Kelly taking a breather. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Striker. Kelly utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Striker working hard to break the clinch.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Kelly decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Striker shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kelly as he avoids it easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kelly moves into range and clinches up with Striker. Kelly breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kelly avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Callan Kelly showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Striker is trying to control the position but Kelly postures up. Jason Striker has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Striker is really struggling to control Kelly but he's trying to hold on to the position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Jason Striker has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Kelly drives through and clinches with Striker against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Striker jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kelly walks away with a smile on his face. Striker gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Kelly rushes Striker and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Callan Kelly comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kelly has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
