The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roach closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Roach lands in his opponent's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Lancaster Jr scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Lancaster Jr cracks Roach with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Lancaster Jr has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Roach to stand back up!
Roach is rocked!
It looks like Frank Roach has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Roach takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Oh Roach is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lancaster Jr fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Roach seems to have got his legs back now.
Roach is breathing heavily.
Roach closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Lancaster Jr's guard.
Lancaster Jr uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Lancaster Jr lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Roach is looking to close the distance but Lancaster Jr sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Roach crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Roach is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Clifford Lancaster Jr!
A relieved looking Clifford Lancaster Jr thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
