The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barksdale attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Barksdale lands a jab.
Miles avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Barksdale is looking to clinch but Miles is avoiding it.
Barksdale moves out of range as Miles strikes.
Barksdale bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Miles's head backwards.
Barksdale lands a leg kick that knocks Miles off balance momentarily.
Barksdale thumps Miles with a low kick.
Barksdale punishes Miles's body with a nice straight punch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Miles cracks Barksdale with a good jab.
Barksdale avoids the body shot from Miles.

Barksdale has taken the fight to the clinch.

Barksdale pushes Miles back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Barksdale lands with a light punch inside.

Miles breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Miles fails with a takedown attempt.
Miles swings widly with a right hand
and Barksdale counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Miles is rocked!

Barksdale moves into the clinch.
Miles is still on wobbly legs! Can Barksdale finish him?
Miles is pressed against the cage. Barksdale pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Miles! Two more big strikes from Barksdale and Miles crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!

After winning the bout, Avon Barksdale thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
