The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fluff tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Defoe counters with a stiff right hand.
Fluff tries to close the distance and clinch but Defoe swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fluff keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fluff wants to clinch up but Defoe keeps it at a distance.
Defoe scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

and Defoe counters with a thumping low kick.

Fluff drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Defoe gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Defoe lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fluff circles away quickly and effectively.

Puff Masta Fluff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
