Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sammy Farha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Z (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Farha's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ari Gold - Let's Hug It Out, BITCH. Z has chosen New York as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farha takes one to the side of the head.
Farha changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Z fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Farha sprawls well initially but Z persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Farha wants to control but Z is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Farha is looking to escape.
Farha gets full guard.
Farha looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Z wants to pass the guard but Farha is keeping the position.
Z is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Z working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Farha's head.
Z passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Z cracks Farha with a big right hand but Farha just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Z works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

You can see the frustration on Farha's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Z throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Farha stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Farha misses the jab.
Z throws a jab but it's blocked by Farha.
Z lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Z closes this distance looking for a takedown but Farha circles away.
Farha misses with an attempted mid kick.
Farha throws a shot from downtown. Z moves away and avoids it.
Farha tries to land a front kick but Z steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Farha misses with a head kick.
Z just misses with a punch to the body.

Farha shoots in looking for a takedown but Z manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Farha's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Z throws a series of punches but Farha avoids them all with ease.
Farha connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Farha drops his hands momentarily and Z takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Z uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Farha.

Z is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Farha still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Farha has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Farha throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Z sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Farha is looking to clinch but Z is avoiding it.
Z throws a body punch but Farha moves out of range.
Z bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Farha's head backwards.

Z takes a swing at Farha's ribcage but misses.
A head kick misses from Farha.
Farha fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Z manages to avoid it.
Z circles away from the clinch attempt.
Farha closes the distance and clinches up with Z, looking for a takedown. Farha pushes Z against the cage but Z circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Z checks a low kick from Farha.
Z fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Farha looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Z's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Farha connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Z scrambles back to his feet.
Farha misses with a straight left.
Z shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Farha as he jumps to the side.
Z throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Farha's waist but Farha gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Z off to one side.
Sammy Farha has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Z.

Farha lands with a kick to the temple. Z shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Farha is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Z throws a good cross that connects.
A solid leg kick lands there for Farha.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Farha pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Z shoots in and drives through. Farha sprawls well.
Z scores with a punch to the head.
Farha fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Z.
Farha keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Z ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Farha throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Z avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Z goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Z takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Farha looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Farha is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Z is just riding it out for now. Farha eventually gives up the hold.
Z misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Z makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Z.
Z manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Farha manages to get himself to full guard.
Farha bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Z's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Z is looking for a triangle but Farha pushes his legs off easily.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sammy Farha.
Well Z has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
