Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Piotr Rasputin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Shin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rasputin comes into the arena with Evil Scarecrow- Robotatron blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Piotr Rasputin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marcus Shin! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rasputin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Shin. Rasputin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Rasputin shoots in for a takedown but Shin shows good takedown defense. Shin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rasputin fails with the takedown and Shin counters with a three punch combo that has Rasputin backing up. Rasputin nods at Shin to acknowledge the strikes. Shin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rasputin fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Shin is out of range. Shin takes a swing at Rasputin's ribcage but misses. Rasputin lands with an uppercut that bounces Shin off the cage and back into range. Rasputin gets in close and instigates a clinch. Rasputin wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Piotr Rasputin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rasputin is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Shin is defending well for now. Shin has Rasputin pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rasputin manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Rasputin lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Shin wants to break the clinch but can't.
Rasputin has Shin pressed against the cage, preventing Shin from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Shin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. A knee to the head by Rasputin.
Shin is looking to break free of the clinch but Rasputin has double underhooks. Rasputin unloads a knee to the mid-section. Shin lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Shin takes a knee to the side of the body. Shin is trying to break the clinch but Rasputin has him pressed against the cage. Shin has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rasputin is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Shin is trying to force a seperation but Rasputin has the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shin has hold of one of Rasputin's legs. Rasputin is fighting the takedown attempt but Shin gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Rasputin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Rasputin pulls Shin in close to prevent any damage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Shin throwing strikes but missing. Rasputin has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Shin has passed into side control.
Rasputin is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Shin off and has taken his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rasputin is looking for the choke from the back position but Shin is controlling his hands well. Rasputin misses with an elbow to the head. Shin wants to control his opponent's hands but Rasputin gets his hands free. Rasputin looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
Rasputin thows a strike but Shin uses the opportunity to reverse the position! Great move by Shin as he ends up in Rasputin 's guard! Rasputin trying to control the position here. Rasputin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Rasputin trying to keep a closed guard but Shin is proving a slippery customer.
Rasputin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shin manages to get to full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Rasputin trying to control the position from guard on top but Shin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rasputin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Shin is keeping the position for now. Rasputin passes into half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Shin taking some punishment here, with Rasputin in his half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rasputin clinches up with Shin and pushes him back against the cage. Shin has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Rasputin lands a knee to the body.
Shin lands a takedown into guard.
Rasputin working a defensive guard but Shin manages to pass into side control anyway.
Rasputin is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Shin's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Rasputin is trying to stand.
Rasputin has his hands clasped together around Shin's back. He's all about the action. Rasputin trying to control but Shin postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rasputin avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Shin. Rasputin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Rasputin makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Rasputin. Rasputin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Shin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Shin prevents Rasputin from getting back to his feet. Shin throws a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shin trying to control the position from guard on top but Rasputin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rasputin looking for a sweep. Not yet Rasputin, not yet. Shin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Shin trying to control the position from guard on top but Rasputin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Marcus Shin hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Rasputin shoots in and bounces Shin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Rasputin pushes down on Shin's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shin is trying to get back to full guard. Shin is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Shin is not content to let Rasputin control the position. Shin is trying to stand up here but Rasputin is controlling him well. Shin is breathing heavily. Shin is trying to get back to full guard. Shin makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Shin. Rasputin looking to pass the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rasputin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Shin works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Shin controlling Rasputin's posture. Rasputin looking to pass the guard. Rasputin wants to control from the top but Shin keeps moving. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Shin preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rasputin throws a strike but Shin rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Piotr Rasputin dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Shin on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Rasputin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Shin paws at him with a jab and circles away. Shin looks to land a left hand but Rasputin moved out of range nicely. A leg kick checked by Rasputin. Rasputin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Shin as he avoids it easily. Shin is looking to score with low kicks. Rasputin scores with a head kick. Shin tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Rasputin misses with a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shin blocks a low kick nicely. Shin throws a right hand that Rasputin ducks under and follows up with a left that Rasputin also avoids with ease. Rasputin tries to close the distance and clinch but Shin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Rasputin wants to clinch but Shin slips to the side and Shin counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Shin thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rasputin's head. Shin trying to control from Rasputin's half guard. Rasputin has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Shin stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Rasputin has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Shin manages to get his head free but now Rasputin has transitioned to an armbar! Shin grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Rasputin! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Piotr Rasputin! A relieved looking Piotr Rasputin thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
