Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Sergey Kharinov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rysty Sankari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kharinov's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Metallica - For Whom The Bell Tolls. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kharinov moves out of range as Sankari strikes.

Sankari throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Sankari counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Kharinov slips a jab and a cross from Sankari.
Kharinov is looking to clinch but Sankari is avoiding it.
Kharinov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sankari swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sankari stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
It looks like Sergey Kharinov has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sankari lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sankari cracks a nice hook into Kharinov's ribs.
Kharinov looks to clinch
and Sankari counters with a straight right that drops Kharinov on his ass! Kharinov jumps back to his feet. He seems OK to continue so we'll get back to the action.
Kharinov is rocked!
Kharinov drops his hands momentarily and Sankari needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Kharinov just on the top of the head. Kharinov drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Kharinov - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Rysty Sankari!
A very excited looking Rysty Sankari made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
